Geocaching near Stalybridge

A bit late with this one but I thought I had posted it last night and just realised I had prepared it but forgot to publish.

Chester played at Curzon Ashton this evening so Rick and I went up on to the hill above Stalybridge to do some geocaching this afternoon. We were surprisingly successful and found everything we looked for although Rick contrived to drop one geocache into the reservoir never to be seen again.

The walk worked out at just over 6 miles and it was raining by the end but the weather was OK for about three quarters of the way. Today's blip was taken at the halfway point.

After the geocaching it was a visit to the always excellent Stalybridge Buffet Bar and then on to the football. I felt that Saturday's result was nothing to be concerned about and I was right because Chester won 3-1. Even better my score prediction was correct for the first time this season and Im off the bottom of the table of our prediction league.
