Edith Rigby

Another etching from the Square where I work as it was a busy day!  The three new bosses came over to Preston for their induction so lots to do.

Edith Rigby was a suffragette who lived from 1872 until 1950.  As well as working hard to improve the lives of women and girls working in local mills, she was the first woman in Preston to own a bicycle!
