See you next year!

Last 2019 swim in the lido, it closes at the weekend until next May. It was my first 50 length swim for exactly one month, turns out any modicum of fitness I had developed has entirely left me, replaced by all the lovely holiday food and drinks I suspect. It does mean I now have the fabulous exhausted feeling though that is normally a pre-cursor to an smashing nights sleep.

And in other news, I totally love September!! I love the season change, the fresh start feeling and I have some v nice birthday plans coming up. I’ve settled back into stuff after my holiday and have been in an excellent mood all day, somewhat to the surprise of my colleagues.

And I have a big new swimming adventure planned for the rest of the year which, because I haven’t started it yet, makes me all happy and excited. That won’t last I’m sure, expect plenty of moaning by mid-October.....
