Flower bits (Day 1580)

The weather seemed reasonably promising as I made my way up the hill with the woofers. There was even a hint of sunshine.
I headed to town and collected a few things before an appointment with the doctor to review my meds. I am sure that they are working now, though I still have a slightly disconcerting feeling that they are just covering up the way I really feel. A couple of people have commented in the last 24 hours that I seem much more myself than I have done for a long time, which is good news. The doc asked how the online CBT course is going. Frankly, I find it irritatingly patronising. An email reminder to do the weekly course arrives around 3am on the day before I am due to do the course. Another email reminder arrives around 3am on the day I am to do the course. Another email arrives within seconds of me having finished the weekly course instalment telling me that I have completed the session for this week. I don't feel like the course has helped me at all, but I will carry on with it and finish the course next week. I gave the doctor a bit more detail on the course, which she has never seen, and she did agree that it sounds irritatingly patronising. Her suggestions were that she could increase my meds, refer me to the community psychiatric nurse, or I could self refer to one of the local counselling services. She felt the community psychiatric nurse is probably not the best option for me, and I really don't want to take more drugs, so I will organise some counselling as soon as I can.
With the appointment out of the way, I headed back to the job I left on Friday and fitted the last of the radiators, cursing the cheap, poor quality radiator valves I had to use. Whilst the heating was warming up, I fitted a new wash basin for the customer to replace the vile avocado green one they had.
Before driving home in the rain I sorted out a little job for another customer on the other side of town.
It has been a busy day with no chance to take a picture outside, so another macro of flowers will have to do.
I am looking forward to having my beautiful wife back home tomorrow. It seems like ages since she has been home.
