At Torcross

We walked on the beach where over 700 Americans died training for the invasion to free Europe from the Nazis . Their ships were attacked by German E-boats and sunk, sending men and machines to the bottom of Start Bay.

Today, it's a beautiful beach, you could never imagine the horror that took place all those years ago.
