Twisty Form

While I was pruning the redcurrant bushes this morning I noticed this empty Aquilegia seed pod. Luckily I had my phone with me- I am surprised by the detail on the close up- nearly as good as my little Lumix camera.
I really like the way the skeleton is twisted- such a beautiful structure. Isn't nature amazing.
