Going Back

A trip down memory motorway. More than a lane, more like a highway of memories of previous holidays in La Palmyre. We were invited to drinks by the new owners of our holiday house. We had it for 16 years but decided to sell up back in the spring. No regrets, just lots of great souvenirs of shining times with family and friends.
 
The new owners are thrilled with the house and have already effected a lot of changes, mostly to the good and what it needed. 
 
It was a psychological milestone to be got past. Would it be sad or emotionally intense? In the event we both felt happy with the decision and pleased that it is in good hands with another, younger, family who will get as much fun out of it as we have.
