Bedraggled begonias

Went to a sewing class today. Plan was to go to the Peel Park bandstand where Afternoon tea was being served by KBC* people were serving tea as part of the Canal Festival**.

Backup plan was to get a bus and visit Starbucks in town - virtually across the road from the bus station.

B U T  the class was longer than expected and I had concentrated and chatted for hours longer than normal so I came up the road for a snooze.

Begonias are in the park right beside the swings.

End result of the class was a tote bag in colours to look like a  Puffer, some of which were made in Kirkintilloch. Pic in Extras.

** Kirkintilloch,  as you well know,  is the canal capital of Scotland.
Festival runs over a week at the end of August. Normally at least one day is rained off.
