Honey bee....

....diving into camellia Silver Anniversary.

Silver Anniversary is not the best type of camellia, it browns quickly and easily drops but is a superb feeder for the bees so it will remain in my garden. It's a case of 'battle of the bee's' as the few flowers which are open are in hot demand.

A pleasant morning but this afternoon has been cold and windy, 16C.   Everything is covered in pollen, my eyes are itchy and my nose is running, I feel quite heady.....allergy season is in full swing.
