Felled

Dogs walked with company this morning.

Out to u9 football festival. Girls were brilliant today.

Took callie to out apiary for a walk.

Walk through the woodland with callie and pal Tucker. Then checked hives. Brood in the ones I was worried about hopefully enough for winter.

My laird wanted a tree felled as taking out lots of light. Kitted up in safety gear. First hand trimming heavy branches of one side to make felling angle better.

Managed to fell the desired angle with no damage to surrounding fruit cage or bridge. Tidied up and cut up straight bits for saw mill. First non supervised tree felled, a few more to be cleared in the woodland over the winter.

Home and made dinner.

Gooseberry jam made.
