Experimenting
Neil left the house at 8 am to get to the airport in Edinburgh and on his flight to Stravangar.
I got up a little after that and caught up with my Blip while having my coffee.
I had a lot on my left but then thought I enjoy the Sunday a bit en get out to the car boot sale to loo for more props.
I drove to Polmadie, which is my favourite car boot sale for such stuff and went straight to Arthur's stall, as he always has the best things.
2 weeks ago the fencing swords and today he had 2 vintage suitcases. A blue one from the 50-ies and an older one that opens oddly and has hangers in the lid. Both in very nice condition!
He gave me both for 30 pounds and a walking cane on top.
We chatted also a bit - as I know him since years. The stall neighbour David is also awfully nice.
You can see both in the extra!
Back home I realised the sun was out and I felt a bit hungry. So I went out again and visited Urte at Comet Pieces, had a coffee and a roll.
I carry currently the camera only with the 85mm prime portrait lens around. It is a very nice lens with wide aperture and I have never used it much, so I am trying to practice a bit with it.
The last blips were already done with it and so ate today's.
I played a bit with colour grading in Photoshop and am very pleased with the result on my main blip.
What do you think?
I spent the rest of the day sorting my hard drive and freeing space, procrastinating the start of the wedding showcase photo book ... hmmm ....
So I will start with it now .. after I found some food in the kitchen :)
Blipping in time for a change - my colour graded rose.
