A lovely day out

Today we went down to 'Pease Bay Caravan Park' to see Ann's friends, Kay & Allison, who have been staying there for a few days.

As soon as we arrived I got taken to the beach so that I could play with my blue bouncy ball. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing with my blue bouncy ball. The tide was all the way out and I had great fun zooming around. And when I got tired I just lay down in a rock pool for a little rest.

After my play, I had to have 'snooze time' in the car while the humans went for breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Yum, yum. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to go with them, but I'd already had my breakfast earlier and after playing with my blue bouncy ball I was a bit tired anyway.

When the humans finished breakfast do you want to know where we went?......................... we went to the Rocking Horse Café' in Alnwick. (Don't seem to be able to add a link?) What a fabulous place. Ann doesn't really do cakes, but OMG the selection of cakes for humans were amazing. Kay & Allison both had massive hot chocolates topped with marshmallows and flakes and other stuff. And they also had cake & millionaire shortbread. Ann had a diet coke?! But the best thing about the Rocking Horse Cafe................... was the agility equipment for doggies in the garden.

I'm still only 9 months old so according to all the blurb on the internet I shouldn't really be doing agility until I'm about 2 years old. But Ann said I'd be OK having a 15 min play.

Everything was a bit scary at first. There was a tunnel for me to run through, but at first I thought it was for jumping on. I soon worked out what to do. Especially as Ann was at the end of the tunnel with treats of me. Yay!

There were also about 4 jumps for me to jump over. I kept going underneath the jumps because I didn't understand what I had to do. But then Ann jumped over the jumps so I copied her.

Didn't quite get the point of the weaving in and out poles though. Ann put me back on my lead and dragged me in and out of them. That wasn't much fun. #notgoingtowinCruftsanytimesoon

And then do you know what happened?........................... the owner of the 'Rocking Horse' (well, we're assuming he was the owner – very lovely man), brought his two collies Tess & Sam out to play with me.  And another couple had a really nice little black dog that wanted to play with me. And I had the most fantastic time ever.

This really has to be the bestest 'doggie friendly' cafe in the whole world.
#Fabulous

Fabulous food & drink menu, fabulous child/dog friendly cafe. What's not to like??!!

Back to the caravan site at Pease Bay and I had a little 10 min walk in the woods. And then we came home.

…..................And now we're both tired 'cos we've had no sleep time today!!!

Goodnight peeps xxx
