Recognition

I read an article about the way that we recognise people. It turns out that, whilst we think that it’s people’s faces that we recognise, it’s often their body language or way of walking that tips us off and we are very good at doing this using our peripheral vision. So, when you tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I was surprised to see you, I sort of wasn’t.
