Happy Birthday Day to you

One of the last ones in my group of friends turns the big 40.

Finally had a nice relaxing day with Claire, I did pick a load of apples from the tree but I was rewarded with apple and oat cakes which were delicious.

Later on in the evening we met up with my friends who had been out drinking since 14:00, we got there about 19:00 and a few were already showing the signs of consumption. When we left there were many unsteady folk in the group but were all having an excellent time.

I'm not really drinking at the moment just incase Claire's waters break, well I had one and a half pints. I know I'll be grateful in the morning as I'm going out on my mountain bike early.
