A Grand Man

This book and the rest of the ‘Maryanne’ series are some of the books the still take up space on my bookshelves.

Like many books I have, I can’t bear to let them go as just looking at them evokes the wonderful feelings I had when I read them for the first time as a youth.

This morning Kent was outside washing all the windows and there was an incident where the ladder and the lighthouse on the front doorstep met. The light and railing were broken. Oops!

Have no fear - I had a new railing and light installed in no time! To longer to clean the paint and glue off my hands afterwards. :-)

We made the mistake of going to Walmart to pick up a few things after lunch and it was a zoo. People are panicking like we are going to be hit be the hurricane tomorrow. What is up with these people?! There is so much uncertainty at this point and people should basically already be prepared period. Just me and my rant.
