PH AL-60566

I had to return my library books today to get more to read so when I drove home I decided to go on a road that I never take.  It goes off of a side street but is really going in the wrong direction.   Since it is rural I thought I might see an old falling down barn or shed for derelict Sunday.   I did see a couple old buildings but could not get a photo as they were too far behind the trees.

I drove a little further and around a bend near "Poor Boy" road I saw an old truck and a VW beetle.  There was enough room there to pull over and get a photo.  (in the extras)   However, as I started back on the road I could see some cars in the woods and I mean in the woods.  There were probably twenty cars and trucks in the woods with trees and vines growing out of them.   I had to just park in the road hoping no cars would come by so I could get out to take a couple of photos.   This old truck was closest to the road so it worked best.  It is an old truck from Economy Furniture which is still in business.    I had my 50mm prime lens on the camera so could not zoom in on any of the vehicles in the woods. 
  

Hope everyone in the US has a great long Labor Day weekend.  The hurricane Dorian has now made a little turn east and is expected to be impacting South Carolina more than Florida.   Keeping a close watch on this storm even though it will be Wednesday before it gets here.  Maybe.
