A bit of a drag
Went to the #stopthecoup rally/march in the market place at lunchtime. A blue and yellow starred sea of EU flags and banners fluttered over the crowd. There was a huge throng of people today and a range of speakers. Generally I felt the crowd unlike some of the speakers were less focussed on party politics and more on working together. At one point a socialist worker/Labour speaker extolling the virtues of JC4leader was met with a growing chant from the crowd of 'together, together, together' and groans.
I was impressed by the marching crowd immediately stepped onto the pavement in one move on hearing an ambulance. Seemed to echo unison of mind.
The blip of the man and cigarette caught my eye as he stood above the crowd leaning against the Guildhall looking faintly bored.
