Whitstable

A lovely day out.

Even though we’re back at work we tried to extend our summer holiday a little with a fun day out in Whitstable.

Throwing stones into the sea, a lovely walk along to the harbour, looking at boats and at crabs which people had caught in buckets, delicious lunch at the Crab and Winkle in the harbour, watching the lifeboat launch, eating ice cream, etc...

...and then L nearly fell asleep, face down on the beach, and had to be scooped up and carried back to the car.
