The Shepherdess

After a most very busy last week, we've dropped Chino off at Jess and Nathan's and are having a chilling couple of days away at a very pretty village called Stoney Middleton in the Peak District.  Stopped off at a NT place called Longshaw, where there just so happened to be a Sheep Dog Trials day going on.......it's not action packed, but it is so very lovely to watch.....oh those sheep doggies!  They rounded up 4 sheep, then went off for another 4, then had to get 8 sheep through 2 fences...and then split the group into 4s again, then fence them, then split a single sheep off.  Not many Shepherds and their dogs managed it, but this shepherdess and her dog did.....oh the memories of when the most excitement on Sunday night TV was "One Man and his dog"....slash her dog!  
Chatsworth Country Fair tomorrow......twill be fun :)))
