Gremlins?

There is a cypress tree growing by our back door, and I notice that it has berries. They are strange little things, about the size of my pinkie nail. Do I see little  faces peeking out at us? I'm not superstitious but - a huge limb fell off the beech tree this morning. TM saw and heard it crash to the ground. He was close - but not too close, luckily.
