Old Stone

No idea how old - but it is the oldest part of the church and dates from the mediaeval period. At this time of year the golden hour light falls on the tower and main entrance door and shows up the textures and colours well.  One of the whole church in the extra.

Basil has made it home to Barnstaple  safely - but he may be back when our friend Shirley has a follow up appointment for her cataract operation.

Gill and I spent some of the day tidying the lounge and removing picture hooks etc so we can decorate.  One of my blips is now over the fire surround so we can decide if we like it there.
