Moody Lines
We are now at Gatwick airport waiting to board the plane to Alicante. Plenty of time for packing this morning, lunch with Edward in Aylesbury and then the drive to Woking where Pepper is having her holiday with daughter Ali and her family while we are away.
Ali gave us a lift to Guildford where we caught the train to the airport. Easy, no fuss and probably quicker than going by road.
On the train I was reading about mood lines in design, particularly in relation to photography. Needing a blip, I cast around for something. This is the ceiling in the holding part of the airport. Curved lines give a feeling of smooth transition and straight lines are for directness. That's some of the theory anyway.
Now to head for Gate16 and a waiting plane.
