Kitesurfing at Wissant

The journey northwards was smooth and we are arrived for an afternoon on the beach. It was very crowded compared to our previous visit as the French celebrate the last weekend before ‘la Rentrée,’ thebeginning of the school year. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had not booked the tunnel. The booking I had made was for a return later in September. There were only three places left for any train all day tomorrow so I was lucky to get an early morning crossing. I had to pay twice the usual price for the privilege so I won’t make that mistake again!
