Another good day today but the holidays are coming to an end.
This morning Cara and I headed into the farmer's market where we normally indulge in spiced swirls. Unfortunately we had lain in bed too long and they were all gone so our calorie count got a break.
Cara then headed off for a haircut and I spent a relaxing hour browsing in the University Book Shop - so many cool books, so little time! I had to be restrained after an expensive Christmas so managed to leave empty handed. :(
Gorgeous sunny afternoon meant a bit of gardening. Later tried to take my old BSA out for a run - for some reason it would fire in the garage but didn't want to know as soon as it hit the drive. Perhaps a loose connection somewhere, or maybe a guardian angel keeping me off the road. Amazes me how often the solutions to mechanical problems come to me in my sleep - maybe by tomorrow morning I'll have it worked out :)
Harry, Kim and Estella came for a BBQ this evening. Easy company and some good food (even if I do say so myself).
Maybe a beach day tomorrow if the weather stays good.
I spotted the blip on one of my forays up the garden path and took a quick snap with my phone. Amazing what can jump out at you.
