Merthyr Tydfil Marathon

A bit of retro today.

My cousin sent photos of a past Merthyr Tydfil marathon. Probably about 23 years ago because we think Dad is about 70.

Dad was always a runner; even before marathons became popular in the early 1980s. His last London Marthon was when he was almost 81. It took him forever to finish and we were bored waiting! However, his fastest was 3 hours 19 minutes in his late 60s.
