Pied Piper?

I was up early enough for a cool walk before the sun was fully up and as I got back to the house saw this bird in the garden. At first I thought it was a crow as it is large enough (approx 48cm/19 inches long). It let me creep pretty close and I then saw the white markings. Its beak was definitely not a magpie's or a crow's and its' call is different too - hear the call HERE.

Thank goodnes for Google which helped to identify it as a Pied Currawong (Strepera graculina) found on the eastern seabord of Australia.
