Liverpool museum.

A trip to the museum today with #1S and #1GD,#2S,#1GS,#2D and partner. The museum of course was packed out, and rather than a relaxing cultural visit, it was more of a culture supermarket sweep, with the kids running amok through the exhibits and the squeals and shrieks at the nasty bugs and "gross" mummies echoing off the walls. The minor palpitations and eye-twitching suffered as a result were greatly alleviated by a calming cuppa with #2D and her laid back partner in that oasis of calm that is M&S cafe, with no kids in tow. They are both good kids, separately, but being 5 and 6 do tend to bounce off each other and compete to be the most aaaargh! I don't know how I managed to raise 4 of the little blighters and retain some semblance of sanity. See extra for #1S interacting with a bug poster.
