River Itchen

We went for a walk along the river today. Everyone fancied some time outdoors after being in historic buildings yesterday. We walked to the Hospital of St Cross and had tea and cake in the cafe garden. There are old Almshouses there and 25 elderly men live in the apartments. They’re known as Brothers and have to attend church daily.
