Waiting for repair

The refrigerator freezes everything, changing the thermostat setting has no effect. Engineer came to investigate today, and confirmed what I reported when I called them out, namely that the thermostat wasn't working properly. But he didn't have a spare, they have to order one, and won't be coming again until Friday next week.
