Ragged beauty

This little 'leaf' spent a long time feeding from one of our apples, I waited patiently with my proper camera and in the extra you can see what happened when she opened her wings.  Beautiful!

It was a good lesson in how small the point of focus is when you go for a shallow depth of field.  I managed better in the main shot than in the extra.
