Another Day Another Dolomite

Very early we went into the village centre and hired a mountain guide for the day. We started with stunning views of the Sella Massif. We then ascended into the Karst lunar landscape of the Puez Plateau. A tough walk; it became tougher in the Val de Chedul when it hailed then poured. We won't hire the guide again; at one stage he consulted a map (which he held the wrong way up). On looking closer CMC noticed it was a street map of Sheffield.
