30 Days of Composition: Break the rules

Out into the country this morning to choose a subject where I could break the rules. My idea was to move away from the rule of thirds and photograph this country path bang in the middle of my frame.  I also did this because I feel it makes us want to take this path, flanked by tall trees, and start out on a lovely walk in the country. I walked up this slope to walk along the shady side of the fields.

It's another atrociously hot day today and its sapping all my energy.

This is the last day of the "30 Days of Composition"  which I've really enjoyed. I even think I will miss it a little as it has kept me busy and made me more inventive!
