These two boys have done an incredible 2000 lifetime laps each of Sandycove Island. For one he has been swimming here for 23 years, for the other 13 years. An average lap is 1,600m. You can do the math on mileage.
Whatever way you look at it it’s huge. And this doesn’t include all the miles in other waters.
We had a huge turnout for the special event with all sorts of extra special cakes afterwards. we had a lumpy lap to celebrate.
