Going It, Not So Alone

Calla Lily

When I was younger, I got this necklace of my grandmother's. It's nothing special, I just really loved it and wore it a lot, though it was too long for little me and looked silly with what I wore it with. When the clasp broke, I used a paperclip to keep it around my neck. And when my mother noticed that, she took it to the Village Silversmith to get it fixed.
That was in August, and today at dinner with my grandma, Mom pulled out my fixed necklace.

Lots of sentimental jewelry lately. No complaints here.
