Welcome to Lebanon.... Oregon

Such a wonderful day at work. I haven't said that in awhile... An easy drive down, unload 9,000 pounds by hand and then a nice ride home. I have wanted to take this picture for a few years now but never had a chance until today. The is the welcome sign to the town. Besides the friendliness, there are two birds, a few flowers and... In the background is the park that greets you also. A nice gazebo for weddings, music, or... the library, city hall and a wonderful walkway that entwines it all..

Tomorrow I head for the border.. Being Friday with a long weekend (Labor Day) I expect to spend 11 hours in traffic.. Getting paid well just to sit on the concrete highway..
