Surrey vs Essex

Such a fun evening. I spent it at the Kia Oval cricket ground, watching a match between the home team, Surrey, playing against the Essex team as rivals. A bunch of us from the Southern Group of Motoring Writers were there as guests of Kia. It was magical watching the game as dusk fell, while intense floodlights kept the pitch daylight bright. As a south-of-the-Thames girl I was cheering for Surrey, but Essex chums were ecstatic when their team won. Whoever knew cricket could be so exciting!
