Firth of Forth View from Caiystane

A murky morning, but the rain clears in the end and I head out for a walk. The blip shows a shot looking down on the Firth of Forth from Caiystane Ave.

It does brighten up significantly in the afternoon, but very breezy. I head down to the coast along the Innocent Railway to Musselburgh, then along the coast road to Aberlady. From Aberlady I head inland towards Haddington to Bangly Hill, then head back down to the coast at Longniddry.  Thankfully the wind is not a headwind, and the ride back to Musselburgh is fine as well. I then head to Shawfair and the new cycle path to Lasswade Road through Millerhill. To avoid roadworks at Kaimes, I head home from Lasswade Rd over the Braid Hills. Just as I put the bike back in the shed, the rain starts again. (better than up north, the Highlands seem to be taking the brunt of this awful summer)

The ride can be seen at Relive here.
