Andromeda Galaxy
This is the setup I use for my astrophotography. On the screen you can just make out the smudge of the galaxy. I was using a 500mm lens to shoot 60×30 second exposures and then various calibration exposures to help reduce spurious noise when the whole lot are stacked and processed.
We get so few clear nights up here in the Western Pennines, even when it's clear it is often hazy, that I spend more time trying to tease details out of old data than I do getting new data!
