Part emergency : part chuffedness. It's slid into Overdrive, and it's better than most of the others I had in the queue...
Up to now the "preceding" leaf has been green and almost full size before the next leaf has even showed face, like this; 
This time the preceding leaf is about half formed and the next one is making way nicely. It will soon start to resemble a plant.
