Borthwick

The second day starts off better, so I manage to get out on the bike. However, it is not the route planned due to Met Office warning of thunderstorms for the afternoon. Blue skies for the first bit. Had to go through Penicuik as there was an accident on the B road out of Auchendinny. Up Pomathorn to Middleton , Borthwick (Blip) and Pathhead. Clouds arrived as I headed to West Saltoun. Spits and spots of rain from Elphinstone to home, but no jacket required.

The afternoon wasn't as bad as forecast, the yellow warning of thunderstorms has disappeared. I make the best of the misty conditions by waling over the Braid hills.
