A day out

Mr C and I popped over to see Josh and Natalie and to drop off some lavender plants I bought for them yesterday. After a cup of tea and chat we said our goodbyes and went on to Alresford, a lovely little market town. It’s full of wonderful independent shops and tea rooms but not such a wide range of restaurants when we were looking for a late lunch, ending up in pizza Express. Once fed we went to look at the river ( which was crystal clear with lots of fishes) and ended up walking the millennium trail, in my wedges was not the best footwear but it was an easy, enjoyable and pleasant walk with historical information boards along the way.

An enjoyable afternoon was had.
