Willow Arch

I made this Willow arch a couple of years ago and was hoping to make a 'stump garden' on the chipped bark area.
I am seriously lacking in tree stumps but the principal of the idea is 'getting there'. It isn't in the shade either so I don't know what plants to use yet.
