It rained

A busy morning in the garden, particularly for JJ who spends a lot of time raking up the lime tree seeds from the lawn.  The borders are full of them as well, which is more difficult to deal with.  The only saving grace this year is that the trees haven't been invaded by aphids, which keeps the ants away and doesn't produce a sticky black substance which drops onto the plants below.

I went to put out the washing this morning and noticed the lines of raindrops sitting on one of the Iris leaves.  Job done.  Much better in large view.

I can't tell you how seething I am about "you know who, and what".
