New leaves

It is definately looking like spring with new bright green leaves sprouting all over.

Its been an interesting day as I woke up with almost no voice and without any indication as to why.  I had a meeting later in the morning with an older African chap who battled with my accent to begin with so a hoars croak didn't make the discussion any easier.

Arnie spent a lot of the day waiting.  First he waited for the granite guys to arrive to take the template to make sure their measurements were correct and promised to be back within an hour with the final replacement section.  Five hours later they finally came back and fitted it.  Arnie was not too perturbed as he wasn't planning much anyway but John was hopping mad as he lost most of the afternoon on another job waiting for these guys.  A couple of beers to take home as compensation seemed to help reduce his blood pressure though.
