Feeling flat.....

Another day of ups and downs.
A lorry in with winter barley seed early on then I left 2 on hauling straw while I went next door to help wee brother tag a batch of calves and move them and their mothers to another field.
After lunch the wheat straw that got rained on yesterday was just about dry so headed off to bale it. Unfortunately my tractor decided not to start in the field so had to phone home for a set if jump leads to get going again and remember not to stop until I came home !
The dampness was starting to come down by 9 pm so gave it up as a bad job.
Was supposed to be out for a family meal so not flavour of the month as I didn’t get, but that’s life.
