The best daylily

Daylilies seem to bloom at different times. This is the last one of the season and my favorite with its striking bright gold petals.
It could be that our cool temperatures are leaving us for some hot and humid weather. Predicting in the mid-80's this weekend. No matter, this has been the very best August I can remember.
Leaves are falling from my red maple tree and in the hills I can see colors starting to change. Change is coming!
School starts next week.
