A dull day

This morning began with an early text message. I had filled out a kitten adoption form at the GSPCA late last week. And today, I was offered a kitten to adopt. Cue lots of soul searching, chatting with Charlie and Harry and I tried very hard to think with my head and not my heart. In the end, I said no. I think it’s just a little too soon.
My aunt and uncle, who have been staying at the campsite for the last 5 weeks, have left the island today. That always brings me up short! Summer holidays are coming to an end.
