Bonjour…

My Day:
Another good night’s sleep which was very pleasing… Not much else achieved I’m sorry to report.


I drove to Portsmouth to try and snap a particular ship but when I got there another was moored beside it so that will have to wait until another day.


I spotted this French frigate La Motte-Picquet, an F70 type anti-submarine frigate coming into the dockyard. Not a wonderful shot really, 
I took some others with the two tugs and pilot boats escorting her, but they were no better.


The sun was quite strong, and I wondered around old Portsmouth for a while, I got a few ideas for other shots, I had a rather nice 99 ice cream before coming home.


Cycling:
When in Derby at the weekend my mate was looking at my position on my bike while I was whizzing round the track and concluded that I need a longer handlebar stem… I am not quite sure how that will work with my hip problem, but I thought it would be worth a go so ordered one today… I got a cheap one to experiment with and if it does improve things then I will get a carbon fiber one.


No actual cycling done today but I will most definitely be back on the bike tomorrow.
