Stately Village

This is Wansford, a delightful village, but situated very close to the A1 near Stamford.  It has wide streets (for a market?) and beautiful buildings and I drive through it occasionally when returning south from the airfield at Wittering.

I didn't fly today.  I was there only for my six-monthly ECG, required if I'm to keep my aircrew category.  But I'm downgraded anyway at the moment so I couldn't fly.

Never mind: it was a beautiful day to be touring the countryside.  Off to Devon tomorrow . . .
