Rest Hour!
A grand day out at Edinburgh Zoo. It was too warm to walk way out to the far corners of zoo so we concentrated on the main area. The Meerkats are always fun as they watch us watching them until they just have to lie down for a snooze.
Not only live creatures on show we found out that more than a million Lego bricks had been used in the creation and building of Bricklive Ocean. Over 30 life-sized sculptures formed a trail around the zoo.
The extra shows the life-size model of of an Orca and her calf. There was a competition to guess the number of bricks used to build the model. I'm not good at estimating but my guess would be over 200,000. The prize for the winning guess will be a Family Pass to the zoo.
